HCM105 Brain Heart Infusion Agar
Usages:
For the confirmatory test of mineral water and urban water fecal streptococcus with filter method.
Principle:
Peptone and brain - heart powder provide nitrogen, vitamins and growth factors; glucose can provide energy for a variety of bacteria; sodium chloride maintain osmotic equilibrium; disodium hydrogen phosphate as buffer.
Formulation（per liter）:
Bovine brain (leaching extract powder) 200g
Beef heart (leaching extract powder) 250g
Glucose 2g
Sodium chloride 5g
Peptone 10g
Disodium hydrogen phosphate 2.5g
Agar 15g
Final pH7.4 ± 0.2
How to use：
1.Suspend 51g in 1 L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling until completely dissolved, dispensing flask, 121 ℃ autoclave for 15min.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
