For separation, counting and cultivation of Bifidobacteria.
Principle:
Peptone, yeast extract powder to provide a nitrogen source, vitamins, growth factors; glucose as fermentable sugars; Tween-80, liver powder, tomato cysteine leaching solution and cultured to provide a variety of bifidobacteria growth factor; sodium maintain osmotic equilibrium; agar medium as coagulant.
Formulation ( per liter):
Peptone 15g
Yeast extract powder 2g
Glucose 20g
Soluble starch 0.5g
NaCl 5g
Cysteine 0.5g
Tween -80 1mL
Liver Powder 0.3g
Agar 15g
Final pH 6.8 ± 0.2
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
