Usages:
For detection of streptococci in water and sewage.
Principle:
Tryptone and beef extract powder to provide nitrogen, vitamins as growth factors; glucose as carbon source; sodium azide inhibits gram-negative bacteria; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic balance.
Formulation(per liter):
Beef extract powder 4.5g
Tryptone 15g
Sodium azide 0.2g
Glucose 7.5g
Sodium chloride 7.5g
Final pH7.2 ± 0.2
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
