For colony count of lactic acid bacteria in beverage.
 
Principle:
Tomato juice provide the carbon source, protein and other nutrients; beef extract powder and yeast extract powder provide nitrogen, vitamins and growth factors; glucose and lactose provide carbon source; potassium hydrogen phosphate as buffer ;agar as medium coagulant.
 
Formulation(per liter):
Yeast extract powder 5g
Beef extract powder 10g
Lactose 20g
Glucose 2g
Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate 2g
Tween -80 1g
Sodium acetate 5g
Agar 15g
Final pH 6.8 ± 0.2
 
How to use:
1.Suspend 60g in 950ML of distilled water ,and add 50ML of tomato juice, stirring heated to boiling until completely dissolved, distribute into flask,autoclave at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
 
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
