027100 Bromcresol Purple Dextrose Broth
Usages:
For culturing bacteria and identification of bacterial fermentation of glucose and for inspection of commercial sterilization of canned food.
Principle:
Peptone and beef extract powder provides carbon and nitrogen sources, vitamins and growth factors; fermentable sugars glucose; sodium chloride to maintain osmotic equilibrium; bromocresol purple as a pH indicator.
Formulation（per liter）:
Peptone 10g
Beef extract powder 3g
Glucose 10g
Sodium chloride 5g
Bromocresol purple 0.04g
Final pH7.0 ± 0.2
How to use：
1.Suspend 28g in 1L of distilled water,stirring heated to boiling to completely dissolve ,autoclave at 100℃ for 30 minutes.
2.Diluted and treated samples.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
